What is coaching?
- The International Coaching Federation (ICF), defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”.
-Coaching is not therapy and is not meant to take the place of therapy.
- Coaching is client-driven and the client is held accountable for their participation.
- The coach helps clients identify their strengths and values and employs a strength-based approach throughout the coaching relationship.
- The coach creates a safe space for the client to be seen, heard and validated.
- The coach allows for a trusting environment in which one can express emotions and reflect on them.
- The coach asks powerful questions so that the client can uncover their own answers.
- The coach helps the client discover what may be getting in their way, focusing on clearing out self-limiting beliefs.
- The coach helps the client with mindset, looking at situations through different perspectives and lenses.
- The coach can help the client set goals (whether short-term or long-term) and support the client in fulfilling them.

How are sessions held?
- Sessions are held over zoom or telephone
- Sessions are 1:1 and each session is 50 minutes long
- A complimentary discovery call is required prior to starting the coaching relationship. The discovery call is when the coach and client have a conversation to see if they are a good fit, discussing what the coaching relationship will entail, including what the client wants to work on.
