Grow a life you love and find your answers through connection, conversation, and self-compassion practices.

Sometimes we get caught up in the day to day, we give our love, support and encouragement to others in our life, and while doing so, we can neglect our relationship with ourselves. We don’t pay full attention to our feelings or our needs. It is time to realize that you matter as much as anyone else. I will help you develop a practice of self-compassion so you can learn to give yourself the love and support that you deserve.

Why connection and support is vital…

Humans need connection, we are social beings. Supportive relationships allow us to feel heard and remind us that we are not alone. We ALL need support navigating the ups and downs of this precious life.

It’s never too late to grow a life you love. It all starts with a willingness to recognize and accept where you are now, and discover what may be getting in your way so you can move forward. I will be here to support you so that you can nurture your growth.

Why conversation is necessary…

When you talk to someone who is deeply listening, as I will do for you, you feel supported. When you feel supported, you are better able to communicate your feelings. When you communicate your feelings you connect with yourself and begin to decipher what you truly want and what you need to let go.

Life’s experiences and what we have been told by others and/or societal pressures about who we are or should be, can cause thoughts and feelings that aren’t true to you. These ideas or internal chatter (sometimes called our inner critic), needs to be recognized and released. By communicating and voicing this internal chatter, you can learn to quiet it, so that it doesn’t get in the way of what you truly desire.

Why a self-compassion practice is key…

Self-compassion, simply put, is the practice of being kind to yourself and giving yourself the same compassion and care that you give to others. We all make mistakes, go through difficult times, and may feel stuck or frustrated at times. No-one is perfect, we all have flaws. This is the human experience. Self-compassion allows us to recognize our flaws and not judge ourselves based on our imperfections. Self-compassion allows us to understand that we are not alone.

Self-compassion requires us to be mindful, and this is why it is a practice. Being mindful means focusing your attention on the present moment, which is not always easy when we live in a world full of distractions. When you practice mindfulness, you turn your attention to how you are feeling in the moment, and you can better regulate your emotions and learn how to respond to them with more ease.

Start to grow a life you love, today.
